About the role
- System Engineer responsible for backup infrastructure maintenance and project collaboration in Austria. Seeking candidates with IT education and server administration experience.
Responsibilities
- Part of the operations team and responsible for the maintenance as well as the security and availability of our backup infrastructure (focus on Commvault)
- Resolving incidents and fulfilling service requests within the scope of our project requirements
- Collaborating with our diverse business units
- Supporting the development of infrastructure services based on reference architectures for our customers
- Taking on fixed operational duties as well as structured on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Completed IT qualification (apprenticeship, HTL/technical college, University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule), or university) or equivalent qualification
- Solid experience in administering Windows and Linux servers
- Several years of professional experience in backup and storage
- Knowledge of the service provider environment
- Professional experience administering and operating Commvault is a major plus
- Fluent German and English skills
- Collaborative working style, willingness to take responsibility and initiative
