About the role
- Senior System Engineer implementing enterprise virtual desktop environments based on Citrix technologies at NAXCON GmbH. Responsible for system design, troubleshooting, automation, and infrastructure optimization in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments
- Manage infrastructure components such as Delivery Controller, StoreFront, and PVS
- Provide third-level support and troubleshoot complex issues
- Perform system optimization for performance, scalability, and security
- Manage software packaging and deployment using SCCM/MECM
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Ansible, or DSC
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy (GPOs), and server environments
- Support architecture and migration projects
- Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Citrix environments (CVAD, NetScaler/ADC, PVS)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking
- Experience with automation and scripting, especially PowerShell
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Citrix certification preferred (CCA-V or CCP-V)
- German (C1) and English (B1)
