About the role

  • Senior Business Analyst responsible for strategic client relationships in lubricants sector. Identifying market trends and developing business strategies for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify trends and changes in the mobility market, automakers and strategic customers, including new technologies, business models and sales channels, through benchmarking, participation in trade shows, events, forums, congresses and continuous market analyses, with the aim of guiding the Lubrax brand strategy.
  • Map automaker markets, mobility, exports and special customers (rental companies, insurers, large dealership networks, retail stores and repair shops), identifying opportunities aligned with BR’s and the Lubrax brand strategy, and preparing reports and market analyses.
  • Prospect business opportunities in strategic segments by conducting commercial outreach, field visits, participating in bids and coordinating attractive commercial proposals to expand Lubrax’s market share and win new customers.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for automakers, mobility and special customer segments, together with sales teams and authorized distributors, supporting responses to business opportunities and sustainable brand growth.
  • Manage financial, contractual and relationship matters with automakers, export customers and strategic clients, ensuring contract compliance, correct application of price adjustments, payment of contractual fees and coordination with internal company departments.
  • Monitor and analyze commercial results, including sales volume, gross profit, profitability and segment performance, supporting decision-making and the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Structure, standardize and improve commercial processes, sales routines, the sales funnel and pipeline, ensuring governance, efficiency and predictability in commercial management.
  • Define, monitor and analyze KPIs and commercial performance indicators, promoting management by results and continuous performance improvement.
  • Lead the training and onboarding of the sales team, equipping teams on commercial processes, market strategy, portfolio and the Lubrax value proposition.
  • Work in an integrated manner with internal teams, the sales force, distributors and partners, supporting commercial activities, customer visits and market development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields. Postgraduate degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in the lubricants market and/or with automakers, with a proven track record in strategic account management, business development and market expansion.
  • Knowledge of data management, performance analysis, scorecards and commercial back-office operations, with the ability to turn information into strategic decisions.
  • Analytical profile, capable of conducting feasibility studies, evaluating project performance and developing action plans to improve results.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience coordinating multifunctional teams and acting strategically with high-value clients and partners.
  • Strategic mindset and market vision, with deep knowledge of the lubricants, mobility and automakers sector, tracking trends and business opportunities.
  • Advanced English (fluency for negotiations and executive presentations).
  • Intermediate Spanish (conversational and able to read market reports).
  • Experience developing and implementing commercial strategies for strategic customers.
  • Feasibility analysis and performance evaluation of complex projects, including profitability assessment and strategic KPIs.
