About the role

  • Employee Relations Advisor role in HR consultancy providing advice on employee relations matters. Support line managers and coach junior team members in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

  • First-line support for line managers across a portfolio of clients on all things employee relations
  • Providing day-to-day HR and ER advice to clients by phone, email, video and in person
  • Advising on disciplinary, absence and grievance processes
  • Providing clear, concise written reports and outcome letters
  • Supporting HRBPs with casework and projects
  • Coaching line managers to handle people issues confidently and effectively
  • Working with clients across various sectors – no two days will be the same
  • Supporting and coaching junior members of the team

Requirements

  • Confident advising on complex employee relations cases
  • Strong and up to date understanding of employment legislation
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written communication and analytical skills
  • Able to build rapport quickly and flex your style to suit
  • A “can do”, client service approach.
