About the role
- Employee Relations Advisor role in HR consultancy providing advice on employee relations matters. Support line managers and coach junior team members in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- First-line support for line managers across a portfolio of clients on all things employee relations
- Providing day-to-day HR and ER advice to clients by phone, email, video and in person
- Advising on disciplinary, absence and grievance processes
- Providing clear, concise written reports and outcome letters
- Supporting HRBPs with casework and projects
- Coaching line managers to handle people issues confidently and effectively
- Working with clients across various sectors – no two days will be the same
- Supporting and coaching junior members of the team
Requirements
- Confident advising on complex employee relations cases
- Strong and up to date understanding of employment legislation
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
- Excellent written communication and analytical skills
- Able to build rapport quickly and flex your style to suit
- A “can do”, client service approach.
