About the role

  • Account Manager managing relations with agents and retailers in the business channel at Verizon. Developing sales strategies and assessing performance for continuous improvement across the partner network.

Responsibilities

  • Working side-by-side with agent and third party retail partners to grow customer base
  • Develop and create sales and marketing strategies along with targeted incentive programs
  • Assess performance of agents and retailers and develop tailored plans for productivity
  • Enhance agent capabilities and performance through training and education
  • Communicate sales program results and effectiveness
  • Motivate indirect agents to exceed sales

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Three or more years of relevant experience required
  • Willingness to travel in an assigned territory 50-75% of the time
  • Eligibility to pass motor vehicle records check
  • B2B sales, marketing, training or customer service experience
  • Account management experience
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in the wireless industry
