About the role

  • Account Manager PLM developing customer relationships in digital product creation for Siemens solutions. Identifying customer needs for tailored offers and managing sales responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • As an Account Manager PLM, you develop customer relationships across the entire digital product creation lifecycle — from PDM rollouts in small and medium-sized enterprises to strategic PLM projects in complex engineering organizations.
  • Build long-term customer relationships across your sales territory throughout Germany for the implementation and consulting of Siemens PDM/PLM solutions.
  • Identify customer needs and potential and create tailored proposals.
  • Together with our consultants, convince end users, procurement and managers of our added value as a Siemens Expert Partner for the individual customization and configuration of Siemens PLM software and simulation solutions.
  • Take independent revenue responsibility for your sales territory.
  • Conduct professional contract negotiations and benefit from internal and external training and development opportunities.
  • Keep an eye on relevant industry developments and maintain regular exchange with your colleagues about product updates and customized solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in a technical or commercial field
  • Several years of sales or consulting experience with complex software solutions such as PDM, PLM or CAD systems
  • Demonstrable success in acquisition and negotiation through common channels such as telephone, video or on-site visits
  • Very good German language skills are essential; English skills are an advantage
  • Practical experience with Product Data Management or Product Lifecycle Management systems is a plus
  • You have already gained experience with the Siemens portfolio (NX, Solid Edge, Teamcenter, etc.) or with Rudel Designer PDM
