About the role

  • Account Manager for Simulations Solutions enhancing customer expertise and building long-term client relationships nationwide. Collaborating with Berater to tailor Siemens and Altair Solutions to client needs in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Grow our simulation division by applying our expertise strategically with existing and new customers
  • Build long-term customer relationships based on this expertise to drive the nationwide implementation and consulting of our Siemens and Altair simulation solutions
  • Delight our customers with tailored simulation extensions that, through your technical analysis, integrate seamlessly into their existing PLM/CAD environment
  • Together with our consultants, demonstrate to customers our added value as a Siemens Expert Partner in customizing and configuring Siemens and Altair simulation software
  • Take full revenue responsibility for your sales territory across Germany
  • Conduct professional contract negotiations and benefit from internal and external training and development opportunities
  • Work closely with your sales colleagues in adjacent areas (PLM/PDM and CAM) and leverage synergies for new leads or joint deals

Requirements

  • Completed degree or vocational training in a technical or commercial field
  • Several years of sales or consulting experience with complex simulation software solutions
  • Proven track record of acquisition and negotiation success via common channels such as phone, video, or in-person visits
  • Excellent German language skills are mandatory; English skills are an advantage
