About the role

  • Director of Marketing leading APAC marketing strategy at Vantage Data Centers. Overseeing marketing activities and managing a team for regional success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all APAC marketing as part of a global team
  • Develop the APAC marketing plan, create and manage budget to track ROI, execute strategy and tactics, and report on outcomes
  • Align regional initiatives with global marketing objectives
  • Manage an in-house small team plus oversee agencies to drive outcomes
  • Represent the region in global marketing planning and strategy sessions
  • Oversee all APAC marketing activities with the support of a global team and outside agencies
  • Contribute to a culture of high-performance, collaboration and continuous learning
  • Manage the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, events, content, public relations, social, etc.)
  • Write original marketing copy and copyedit the work of internal team members and external agencies
  • Support sales with identifying prospects, lead generation campaigns, presentations, etc.
  • Manage all regional events, including tradeshows, customer appreciation events
  • Collaborate with public policy team on messaging, programs and community engagement initiatives
  • Partner with global marketing team to support corporate website, regional announcements, etc.
  • Set key performance indicators (KPIs), track and report on outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or equivalent experience required
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience across APAC markets
  • Data center experience is strongly preferred but not required
  • Proven success developing and executing regional marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results
  • Strong leadership, communication and project management skills
  • Experience working in a matrixed global organization
  • Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) Style, Salesforce and HubSpot is highly desired
  • Travel required is expected to be 5 to 10%
