About the role
- Business Analyst driving digital transformation for life sciences companies with ValGenesis. Analyzing customer needs and delivering tailored solutions for compliance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer business processes, system integrations and document the business requirements.
- Map the current and, using a consultative approach, recommend the future process that takes advantage of existing product features and enables customers’ desired outcomes, under the technical guidance of a Senior BA, Project Lead or Senior Project Lead
- Design and develop effective configurations tailored to each client's operational needs and related artifacts
- Verify the customer instances by setting up the required test data and scenarios.
- Document configurations and conduct workshops, walkthroughs (Conference Room Pilots) to capture the customer’s business process requirements
- Knowledge Transfer & Issue Resolution:
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer.
- Troubleshoot customer issues, document them, and work towards resolution through the ValGenesis ticketing system by collaborating with all the internal stakeholders and/or providing a workaround solution, if appropriate
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure clear and achievable requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with client SMEs and actively participate in project meetings and discussions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in chemical engineering, Biological Engineering, or similar
- 2 years of professional experience in pharma related consulting services in the areas of CMC, CQV, CSV/CSA, Process Validation and/or Cleaning Validation and/or life sciences industry experience in the herein mentioned areas (preferable)
- Good technical skills and ability to consistently deliver on time, in full
- Ability to build trust with customers and internal stakeholders
- Good active listening skills, enabling uncovering of customers’ needs and concerns
- Ability to adapt language to context (e.g. not overwhelming customers with complex technical language, but rather adapting it to customer-friendly terms)
- Tech-savvy and passionate about technology
- ValGenesis VLMS Knowledge will be strongly valued
