Product Owner responsible for leading documentation efforts within an agile team. Collaborate with stakeholders at EXL Health to deliver high-quality products in healthcare IT.
Responsibilities
Own the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation including user stories, functional specifications (FSDs), and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with engineering and Scrum teams to plan sprints, prioritize backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of features.
Write, refine, and manage user stories in the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.
Participate in all agile ceremonies and ensure continuous alignment between business and technical teams.
Coordinate with QA and business users to validate features and ensure they meet acceptance criteria and business expectations.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering, translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Healthcare IT, claims processing preferred.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification.
