About the role

  • Associate managing logistics and operations for high-impact events at Valence. Supporting marketing efforts while ensuring seamless execution of various events and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own work-back plans and timeline management across a high volume of concurrent events
  • Manage vendor coordination, booth logistics, sponsorship fulfillment, and on-the-ground execution
  • Run end-to-end logistics for webinars, including platform setup, speaker coordination, and technical run-of-show
  • Write invitation emails and promotional copy that compel people to show up
  • Support event collateral, signage, and branded materials
  • Manage communications with executive stakeholders, including speakers and VIP guests
  • Pitch in on broader marketing projects as needed, from campaign support to creative execution

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in marketing, events, or a related field—ideally in a fast-paced B2B environment
  • Extremely organized and detail-obsessed; you thrive on checklists, work-back plans, and hate loose ends
  • Strong writer who can own event copy and emails, not just execute on logistics
  • Comfortable with high volume and velocity—you've operated in environments where a project management tool wasn't optional
  • Smart, scrappy, and willing to go full speed; you figure things out and ask for forgiveness, not permission
  • Basic creative skills and comfort with design tools (Canva, Figma, or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and manage up to busy stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and adaptable; you don't need hand-holding to keep projects moving
  • Experience living and breathing in project management tools (Asana, Monday, Notion)
  • Nice to have:
  • Field marketing or on-the-ground event experience
  • Experience with event platforms (Splash, Goldcast, Zoom, etc.) or marketing tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay)

Benefits

  • Competitive salary including base + bonuses
  • Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) from day one
  • Generous PTO, company-wide R&R shutdowns, and paid parental leave
  • Retirement plan support for US and global employees
  • Meaningful ownership in a venture-backed company at a growth inflection point
  • Financial upside that comes from scaling fast
  • Top-up grants as we scale and you deliver exceptional performance — your compensation grows alongside your impact
  • A culture built for top talent: intensity to win, growth without limits, and a team that solves hard problems and celebrates big wins together
