About the role

  • Marketing Intern leading a three-month project on a Defense Meteorology marketing strategy for Vaisala. Researching, collaborating, and creating an evidence-based engagement playbook.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a three-month project to design a next-generation Defense Meteorology marketing strategy
  • Conduct desk research on defense-market engagement
  • Analyze existing customer and campaign data
  • Refine key audience segments and their information needs
  • Benchmark different channel strategies and tactics for the defense context
  • Create a practical, evidence-based Defense Market Engagement Playbook
  • Support marketing and sales teams to better understand priority defense audiences
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and regional teams

Requirements

  • University student in a relevant field such as business, marketing, international business, industrial engineering and management, political science, or security/defense studies
  • Strong analytical skills and enjoy structuring research questions
  • Comfortable using common office tools and creating clear, visual presentations in English
  • Experience with marketing, analytics, or CRM tools is considered an advantage
  • Additional language skills are considered an advantage
  • Curious, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Open to feedback and ready to iterate your thinking as new information emerges
