Responsibilities
Market development: Build new business relationships and identify/prioritize market potential across segments, regions, use cases, and partners in Portugal
Grow existing accounts: Systematically expand current customer relationships (share of wallet, cross-/upsell, multi-site rollouts)
Pipeline & forecasting: Own opportunities, quotes, projects, and contacts in Salesforce/SAP; deliver reliable forecasts
Site leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the local team; set clear goals, run 1:1s, reviews
P&L ownership: Manage revenue, margin, and OPEX; steer pricing, terms, and profitability
Go-to-market: Drive local campaigns, events/associations, and build a partner/channel network (distributors, system integrators)
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with HQ (Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance) and the Regional Sales Manager
Reporting: Provide structured updates on pipeline, win/loss, competition, risks, and actions
Requirements
Completed university degree or equivalent qualification, ideally with a technical background combined with commercial expertise
Several years of professional experience in technical sales, preferably within an international environment
Leadership experience is considered an advantage
Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce is a plus
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Business-fluent proficiency in English
Strong team orientation and willingness to contribute within a small team setting
Independent, structured, and solution-driven approach to work
