B2B Sourcing Manager at Upway securing high-quality second-hand e-bikes from professional partners. Contributing to sustainable mobility while expanding and renewing the offering on the platform.
Responsibilities
Hunt, close and onboard new retail partners: identify, prospect and onboard independent bike shops and regional chains across your territory. Your goal is to convert cold prospects into active partners who use Upway’s trade-in tool on a daily basis.
Unlock 'fleet' opportunities: map the B2B, rental and leasing ecosystem and negotiate ad‑hoc bulk B2B deals to secure high‑quality stock for our UpCenter.
Build long‑term trust: the bike industry is built on relationships. Be an available and reliable partner, as comfortable discussing technical specifications with a mechanic as negotiating contracts with a business owner.
Deploy additional services: leverage your network of trusted partners to support rollout of new services as we evolve the trade‑in platform into a full B2B ecosystem (including pickup, drop‑off, maintenance, B2B sales, etc.).
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years in B2B sales or business development. Experience in the cycling industry is a plus, but we value strong sales DNA (FMCG, SaaS, field sales) above all.
Hunter mindset: you are proactive and persistent. You enjoy the challenge of closing new deals and don’t accept ‘no’ easily.
Road warrior: you thrive in the field and are willing to travel 60–80% of the time within your region. You can be based in Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Bordeaux, or Nice for easier travel.
Analytical hustle: you use data to prioritize targets and optimize routes.
Languages: native-level French and professional proficiency in English (for internal reporting).
