Responsibilities
- Guide and perform analysis of performance and healthcare cost indicators for the direct and indirect provider networks, reviewing procedures performed and resources used, and comparing them to established and contracted standards; act autonomously and provide guidance to the team when necessary.
- Guide and carry out impact projections through investigations and analysis of medical accounts/claims, assessing concentrations of healthcare performance metrics and identifying improvement opportunities through indicator analysis.
- Provide the credentialing and provider relations teams with analyses of provider service effectiveness for the Unimeds direct and indirect networks, considering contracted services and performance indicators.
- Develop, implement and disseminate indicators to measure healthcare performance within the Direct Network.
- Guide, prepare and report results for the Accredited Network's performance indicators, and monitor implemented improvement actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Postgraduate specialization or MBA preferred
- Advanced knowledge in evaluation of reports and healthcare performance indicators and in the supplementary health sector, including allocation and classification of healthcare costs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BI tools — SAS and Tableau
- Knowledge of programming languages
