About the role

  • Finance and Client Technology Coordinator supporting the University of Maine School of Law clinical programs. Ensuring effective operations, financial management, and supporting law faculty and students.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Law School’s clinical programs
  • Supporting the Director of Clinics at Maine Law
  • Responsible for strategic planning support, financial analysis, and coordination of operational functions
  • Serving as the finance and technology coordinator for law firm and academic department functions of the Clinics

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, plus 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting
  • Experience with grant management and budgeting is preferred
  • Comprehensive computer skills, including database software, Microsoft Office Suite, and G-Suite
  • Proficiency in legal case management (e.g., Legal Server) and financial software (e.g., Concur) is preferred
