Responsibilities
- Je ondersteunt de Finance Manager Accounting & Control bij de financiële sturing en rapportage van de organisatie, inclusief de Belgische entiteit, en fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor financiële vraagstukken vanuit de business.
- Je start met een duidelijke focus op cost controlling, waarbij je bedrijfs-, personeels- en wagenparkkosten niet alleen analyseert en bewaakt, maar ook actief meedenkt over optimalisaties en besparingskansen.
- Je controleert de juiste verwerking van financiële transacties en bewaakt de kwaliteit van balans en tussenrekeningen als solide basis voor besluitvorming.
- Je voert periodieke interne controles uit, waaronder afletteringen, aansluitingen en onderbouwingen van balansposten.
- Je stelt maand- en kwartaalrapportages op voor management en directie en zorgt dat cijfers niet alleen kloppen, maar ook richting geven aan keuzes.
- Je signaleert afwijkingen, trends en risico’s en bespreekt deze proactief met stakeholders binnen de organisatie.
- Je bereidt de jaarrekening voor, stelt het balansdossier op en begeleidt de accountantscontrole.
- Je borgt compliance met fiscale en financiële wetgeving en interne richtlijnen.
- Je ondersteunt bij BTW-, ICP- en Intrastat-rapportages.
- Je duikt in masterdata en helpt de financiële basis op orde te brengen, zodat de organisatie echt datagedreven kan werken.
- Je speelt een actieve rol in de centralisatie van administraties en zorgt voor uniformiteit en consistentie in processen.
- Je initieert en implementeert verbeteringen in financiële processen en systemen, met focus op efficiëntie, betrouwbaarheid en digitalisering.
Requirements
- Een afgeronde hbo-opleiding in een financiële richting.
- Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring in een control- of accountingrol, waarbij je gewend bent om verder te kijken dan alleen de cijfers. Ervaring binnen een groothandel of vergelijkbare omgeving is een duidelijke pre.
- Aantoonbare ervaring met cost controlling en het analyseren van financiële prestaties, waarbij je ook in staat bent om verbeterkansen te signaleren en door te vertalen naar concrete acties.
- Sterk in Excel en gewend om met data te werken. Ervaring met ERP-systemen zoals Oracle JD Edwards en met BI-tools is een voordeel, geen must.
- Een zelfstandige en proactieve manier van werken, je wacht niet af maar pakt door en spreekt anderen aan wanneer nodig.
- Communicatief sterk, je schakelt makkelijk met verschillende stakeholders en weet financiële inzichten begrijpelijk en relevant te maken voor de business.
- Je durft te challengen, stelt kritische vragen en neemt geen genoegen met oppervlakkige verklaringen.
- Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal, mondeling en schriftelijk.

- Een contract voor 36-40 uur per week, 32 uur is bespreekbaar.
