Responsibilities
Building your own commercial loan portfolio by prospecting for new Food, Beverage & Agribusiness opportunities
Growing revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting new business and making appropriate referrals
Maintaining a portfolio by calling on customers to expand existing business, ensure excellent client relations & proper servicing of account(s)
Developing a sound understanding of the industry types served and the key players within these industries
Managing loan & portfolio credit quality
Negotiating credit arrangements and preparing credit memoranda and supporting documentation for presentation to the loan committee
Collaborating with commercial clients to better understand their business and financial needs
Analyzing the business to qualify clients for bank products and services
Mentoring less experienced Commercial Banking Associates
Requirements
5+ years of sales experience with 2+ years in Commercial Bank/Food, Beverage & Agribusiness experience
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Curiosity about how companies work and the willingness to help them grow and remain successful
Demonstrated knowledge of credit, bank products, services, underwriting and bank operations.
