About the role
- Associate Director supporting stewardship and donor engagement for UJA Federation of Greater Toronto. Focused on enhancing donor experience through collaboration and impactful storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Philanthropic Advisory, Community Capacity Building, impact and other internal teams to support and implement a comprehensive stewardship strategy
- Support Philanthropic Advisors by developing personalized funding opportunities and tailored stewardship and impact reports
- Lead the development of high-quality proposals and stewardship materials that demonstrate the outcomes of community investments
- Translate complex program outcomes into clear, engaging, and inspiring narratives
- Support fundholder cultivation, stewardship, and retention through strategic and personalized touchpoints
- Develop and monitor tracking metrics related to donor engagement, granting patterns, and interests
- Align with the Impact and Stewardship team to support the production of curated impact materials for leading donors
Requirements
- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience
- 5-10 years of similar or related experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and compelling messages
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
- A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to manage projects from concept through execution
- Strategic and critical thinking skills, with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
