Responsibilities
Write clear, compelling scripts and storyboards for short-form video content, from product showcases to campaign storytelling
Support the Video Content Lead in the ideation and development of big creative ideas aligned with brand voice and marketing goals
Craft engaging, on-brand captions that support video narratives and highlight key eCommerce hooks
Conduct trendspotting and competitor benchmarking to identify creative opportunities and shape content strategy
Collaborate cross-functionally with video editors and strategists to ensure messaging is cohesive and effective
Present ideas confidently—both in writing and verbally—in team brainstorms and reviews
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
At least 1 year of relevant copywriting experience (internships included)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong portfolio showcasing storyboarding, social content, or campaign work
Strong understanding of TikTok culture, trends, and tone
Ability to identify trends and translate insights into actionable content ideas
Basic ability to interpret content performance data and apply insights to copywriting
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Passion for pop culture, fashion, lifestyle, and digital storytelling
Nice to Have: Experience writing for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube shorts
Familiarity with basic performance metrics (CTR, engagement rate, etc.) to inform writing
Can work under pressure and strive in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with project management tools such as ASANA, Frame.io, Google Suite
