About the role

  • Supply Chain Production Planner managing logistics and customer relationships at Lilly Medicine Foundry. Collaborating with supply chain functions to optimize manufacturing processes and customer service while based in Indianapolis.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as key liaison between Foundry Supply Chain and various functions at the Lilly Medicine Foundry
  • Communicate status with multiple customers and develop customer service standards
  • Represent logistics at flow and process teams as necessary
  • Generate and analyze plant capacity analysis
  • Ensure customer forecasts and service needs are met
  • Establish relationships with internal departments and customers, influencing performance to meet their needs
  • Maintain accurate data in SAP, including recipes and standards
  • Generate OSSCE metrics and perform Pareto analysis of OSSCE metrics
  • Support supply chain processes and performance improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or other Technical fields of study
  • a minimum of three years of experience in Supply Chain (Production Planning preferred) or similar work experience
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Previous experience in using SAP
  • Positive attitude & demonstrated customer service mindset
  • Organizational skills, prioritization skills, and attention to detail
  • PC and systems skills. Familiarity with SAP & demand management systems
  • Manufacturing /supply chain experience – familiarity with processes, systems & products
  • Initiative and ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Knowledge / Experience in Manufacturing, Packaging, and/or Customer Service
  • Strong organizational and Project Management skills
  • Knowledge of MRPII, and OSSCE
  • Customer Oriented
  • Excellent Computer skills (e.g., MRP, SAP, Excel)
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Master Scheduling
  • Manufacturing in high speed/high volume production process
  • Extensive experience in MRP system (preference is SAP)
  • Usage of Electronic Batch Record (EBR) systems
  • Extensive Excel capability
  • Looking for someone who wants to lead and influence either technically (individual contributor) or in leadership/management
