About the role

  • Senior Product Designer delivering high-quality product experiences across Trulioo’s identity platform. Leading design projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design projects from discovery through final implementation.
  • Deliver clear, well-structured user flows, interaction patterns, and high-fidelity UI across web and mobile surfaces.
  • Translate complex verification and onboarding requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  • Design multi-step workflows that may include branching logic, failure states, and compliance constraints.
  • Create thoughtful retry, error, and state management experiences.
  • Ensure clarity in data-heavy dashboards and operational interfaces.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to align on scope, constraints, and delivery timelines.
  • Participate actively in product discovery and validation efforts.
  • Present design rationale clearly and respond constructively to feedback.
  • Apply and extend Trulioo’s design system using advanced Figma practices (components, variants, auto-layout).
  • Ensure visual consistency, accessibility, and scalability across product surfaces.
  • Maintain high standards in layout, typography, hierarchy, and interaction design.
  • Use AI tools (e.g., Figma Make, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate ideation, exploration, and iteration.
  • Leverage AI to improve efficiency while maintaining strong design judgment.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Product Design or UX/UI Design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality interaction and visual design across complex digital products.
  • Proven experience designing multi-step workflows, data-rich interfaces, or enterprise SaaS products.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including scalable component systems and auto-layout.
  • Solid understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to independently manage projects within a defined scope.
  • Canadian work authorization and ability to work onsite in Vancouver (hybrid model).
