About the role
- Language Quality Analyst safeguarding Arabic content quality for Trendyol. Improving user experience and trust through linguistic expertise and analytical processes.
Responsibilities
- Safeguard Trendyol’s Arabic content quality across all customer surfaces.
- Improve trust, product discoverability, and overall user experience by combining linguistic expertise with analytical thinking and structured quality processes.
- Contribute to Trendyol’s AI-enabled language systems by evaluating model outputs, identifying systemic issues, and shaping corrective actions.
Requirements
- Native Arabic speaker with strong command of English; knowledge of Gulf dialects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of other languages, especially Turkish, is a plus.
- Experience in localization QA, linguistic data analysis, or multilingual content quality.
- Ability to interpret data and apply analytical reasoning, not just linguistic intuition.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and dashboards; familiarity with Python, SQL, or BigQuery.
- Exposure to MT/LLM workflows and openness to experimenting with AI-assisted quality methods.
- Strong communication skills; able to express complex linguistic issues in a structured, actionable way.
- Experience in annotation, model evaluation, or prompt testing.
