About the role

  • Account Executive leveraging full-cycle sales to drive growth for an AI-powered eCommerce platform. Collaborating with SDRs and Marketing in a high-performance startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial discovery to close, while partnering closely with SDRs and Marketing on pipeline generation
  • Conduct deep discovery conversations to uncover business goals, pain points, and growth opportunities for Amazon sellers and eCommerce businesses
  • Deliver compelling product demos that showcase the full Trellis platform—advertising optimization, pricing AI, content automation, and promotional intelligence
  • Build customized proposals and ROI analyses tailored to each prospect
  • Negotiate contracts, manage procurement steps, and close net-new business with SMB and mid-market sellers
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Product to ensure prospects receive expert guidance throughout the buying journey
  • Execute a smooth, professional handoff to Customer Success to ensure long-term client success and retention
  • Consistently exceed performance expectations in a high-intensity startup environment
  • Maintain clean, accurate CRM hygiene, forecasting, and pipeline management

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or related full-cycle quota-carrying roles
  • Experience selling to eCommerce brands, Amazon sellers, or agencies is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of the Amazon ecosystem (PPC, SEO, pricing, catalog, operations) is a major advantage
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive quotas
  • Experience running discovery, product demos, building proposals, and negotiating contracts
  • Ability to manage and close multiple mid-market deals simultaneously
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
