About the role

  • Customer Experience & Support Analyst developing solutions to enhance safe financial transactions with Topaz. Collaborating on AML projects and providing technical support to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Will participate in the design, development and maintenance of control scenarios to detect unusual or suspicious transactions.
  • Will create and optimize mass processing (ETL) workflows, mainly using SQL/Oracle and Kettle (Pentaho).
  • Will develop and maintain analytical reports using Jasper Reports.
  • Will provide functional and technical support to clients, resolving incidents and making adjustments to existing processes.
  • Must collaborate with the team to create new features within the AML platform.
  • Will work with APIs and internal services that integrate information between systems.
  • Will perform data analysis, functional testing and validation of scenario results.
  • Constant communication with team leads.

Requirements

  • Experience working with relational databases (required) — preferably SQL and Oracle.
  • Academic or professional experience with a backend language or ETL processes (Java, Kettle, etc.).
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Skills with data analysis tools.
  • Basic knowledge of consuming APIs.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Analytical skills, proactivity, customer focus and ability to work in a team.
  • Enrolled in or holding a degree/technologist diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.
  • Spanish — conversational and written (required).
  • Knowledge of the financial sector or willingness to learn about banking and compliance (preferred).
  • Intermediate English (desired).
