About the role

  • People Product Manager engaging in HR product development to enhance employee experience at TomTom. Collaborating with teams to tackle real-time challenges using innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal and external research to define problem statements and ensure we build effective, people-centric products.
  • Tackle real-time People challenges, managing product development lifecycles while applying project management skills.
  • Design and build impactful People products using proven product management frameworks and methodologies that our customers love and make sense for TomTom.
  • Experiment with innovative solutions, leveraging new technologies (AI) to enhance the employee experience and drive efficiency.
  • Deliver and launch global solutions across multiple HR domains to all TomTom’ers.
  • Engage with internal customers for real-time feedback, working closely with People Business Partners, management teams, and global TomTom’ers.
  • Collaborate with teams across the People team, Communications, IT, Marketing, and more.
  • Work with your team following Scrum methodology.

Requirements

  • Ideally, 7+ years of HR experience in a tech-driven, global environment, with an understanding of how your work impacts other teams and processes.
  • A broad T-shape profile, demonstrating experience across HR disciplines and project management, and encouraging others to develop theirs.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, act with authority, and demonstrate broad HR knowledge.
  • Comfort with ambiguity - tight deadlines and change energize you and drive continuous learning.
  • Understanding of methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Product Management.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in team settings using Scrum practices.
  • A strong sense of accountability for leading large projects, managing risk and complexity to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Deep understanding of (HR) systems and processes.
  • Next-level problem-solving skills - tackling complex challenges analytically and creatively.
  • Ability to simplify the complex, negotiate effectively, and persuade senior stakeholders.
  • A storyteller mindset - translating HR jargon into clear, digestible information to help others understand the journey.
