About the role
- Intern performing daily GAAP and STAT accounting tasks for TMNAS and its business units. Requires enrollment in undergraduate or graduate accounting-related program.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing day to day GAAP and STAT accounting tasks for TMNAS and the business units it supports.
- Maintains records in accordance with GAAP, STAT and organizational standards
- Assist in creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use
- Assist in researching bank activity such as cashed checks, and electronic transactions.
- Completes certain closing activities, including recording journal entries and assisting in performance balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Perform special projects and other duties as may be assigned
- Exercises independent discretion and judgment
