Responsibilities

  • Supports the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management
  • Executes core responsibilities focused on acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty
  • Wears a body worn camera
  • Supports a positive customer shopping experience in the store
  • Maintains a strong store partnership with store teams and loss prevention
  • Exercises sound judgment in decision-making to ensure safety
  • Adheres to Company policies and maintains Company culture and values
  • Maintains a proper and professional stance at the front of the store
  • Acts as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty
  • Reviews and understands the Store Emergency Response Guide
  • Greets customers appropriately, demonstrating courtesy and respect
  • Establishes and maintains a position at the front of the store or in a department
  • Responds to customer requests for assistance
  • Observes and reports any suspicious behavior or critical incidents
  • Performs a closing safety sweep of the store

Requirements

  • 0-2 years retail or security experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Ability to take initiative and perform well independently
  • Prioritizes/organizes workload and manages time effectively
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
