Responsibilities
- Manage and implement challenging technical projects involving site investigation, remediation, and environmental due diligence processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients
- Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects
- Evaluate contaminated sites and develop remediation strategies
- Lead the development of work plans, data evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses
- Implement remedial pilot tests and construct and operate full-scale systems
- Write technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
- Interpret policy and interact with regulatory agencies
- Mentor and support early career staff in project execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental)
- Advanced degree in same (preferred)
- Professional licensure in California (i.e., P.E.) (required)
- At least 8 years of environmental consulting experience in the California marketplace; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrable track record of successful client management and business development
- Thorough understanding of CalEPA, USEPA, and SWRCB regulations
- Excellent technical leadership of multi-disciplinary project teams
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
