Responsibilities
Overseeing the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Providing expert guidance to both employees and management regarding health & welfare, retirement, leaves and other benefit offerings
Collaborating closely with HR, payroll, and external vendors to optimize benefits processes and resolve employee inquiries
Supporting annual open enrollment processes and the communication of benefits changes or updates
Analyzing benefits data and trends to recommend improvements or cost-saving measures
Managing relationships with benefits vendors and carriers
Preparing and maintaining documentation, reports, and records related to benefits administration
Managing benefits audits for assigned programs and ensuring accurate payroll deductions related to benefits
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration
Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software (preferably Workday)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to think strategically
Demonstrated ability to lead own work and deliver on expected outcomes
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CEBS, CBP, SHRM) preferred
