About the role

  • Global Market Development Manager leading B2B marketing strategies for laboratory equipment at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Responsible for driving integrated campaigns and cross-functional collaboration in marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global market development plan for an assigned portfolio/solution area
  • Build the global marketing plan for your portfolio: target segments/personas, positioning, channel mix, critical metrics, and AOP targets
  • Lead cross‑functional GTM with Product Management—define launch objectives, claims/messaging, buyer journeys, and the global toolkit
  • Collaborate with regional teams for localization and adoption goals; collect feedback to refine post‑launch motions
  • Propose and complete customer/market research to close knowledge gaps and inform roadmaps

Requirements

  • Experience 7–9+ years in B2B marketing/market development
  • Track record delivering integrated campaigns and product launches in a matrixed environment
  • Strength in customer‑centric strategy, segmentation, positioning, and value proposition design
  • Influence without authority across functions/regions
  • Solid understanding of digital/organic channels and measurement
