- Provide strategic leadership for Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) across the Marine business.
- Ensure robust legal and technical frameworks, drive the Safety First strategy, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the implementation of the Safety First strategy within Marine, ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Provide expert HSEQ advice and assurance to the Marine team.
- Develop and maintain action plans and risk assessments, ensuring alignment with legal and industry standards.
- Oversee HSEQ performance monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Promote a high-performance, inclusive team culture and support professional development.
Requirements
- CMIOSH or equivalent degree in HSEQ.
- Significant marine industry experience, including operational HSEQ leadership.
- Strong understanding of risk management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills.
- Experience in incident investigation and performance monitoring.
- Willingness to travel and work flexibly.
