About the role
- Technical Manager overseeing Active Directory and its integrations for Motorola Solutions. Leading a team and directing the technical roadmap in IT Infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Principal Enterprise Lead for the global MSI Active Directory environment.
- Direct the technical roadmap for directory and email backbone.
- Lead a team of engineers providing guidance for day to day operations.
- Direct the architecture, security, and maintenance of the enterprise AD environment.
- Oversee complex integrations between AD and third-party systems.
- Own the global SMTP relay infrastructure and email routing protocols.
- Ensure high availability and security for cross-platform directory infrastructure.
- Lead the IT integration team in executing technical strategies.
- Orchestrate communication across all stakeholders.
- Manage all aspects of people management: hiring, performance reviews, career development.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree with 8+ years of experience managing IT environments
- 3+ years in a formal leadership or management role, with experience conducting performance reviews and managing a global or distributed team
- At least 8–10 years of experience managing complex Active Directory environments, including expert knowledge of GPO, DNS, and Kerberos
- Proven track record architecting Microsoft Certificate Services (ADCS)
- Understanding of SMTP relay, SPF/DKIM/DMARC protocols
- Advanced proficiency in PowerShell for automation
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
