About the role

  • Sustainability & Risk Intern assisting with ESG regulatory compliance and sustainability data management. Engaging with cross-functional teams in Amsterdam to promote supply chain resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Support our Europe and Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) ESG and Risk & Resilience team in collecting and consolidating data
  • Manage records and facilitate global support requests related to our sustainability initiatives, ESG regulatory compliance requirements and supply chain risks.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis and reporting for various sustainability and Risk & Resilience initiatives
  • Support the completion of customer questionnaires and facilitate global support requests related to ESG initiatives
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of our Net Zero Tracker for EPDM
  • Support on upcoming EU regulatory matters such as European Deforestation Regulation, Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation and Forced Labor Regulation
  • Support on data collection & follow-ups ensuring increased supply chain resilience and traceability
  • Conduct research on industry trends and emerging best practices
  • Interact with cross functional teams: sourcing, global ESG, risk & resilience, compliance, legal, R&D

Requirements

  • EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands)
  • EU/ EEA Students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university for at least 50% of the internship period.
  • Non – EU student: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university for the whole duration of the internship period.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, environmental science, marketing, public relations, or another relevant field.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
