About the role
- Finance Controller overseeing activities and reporting in Thales' Regional Company in Spain. Managing monthly reviews, budgeting, and contributing to digital transformation in finance.
Responsibilities
- Address the activities of all organizations involved in the Regional Company.
- Contribute to the implementation of the New World NG project.
- Organize monthly closing reviews with the Finance Director and Chief Accountant.
- Monitor the RC revenue (quarterly invoicing, bonus & support invoicing, various recharges).
- Be the interlocutor of Corporate for all analysis and questions.
- Contribute to the budget building and budgetary control activities.
- Assist the CFO in preparation of semestrial review (Business Operating Review).
- Manage and train a small team, mainly VIE.
- Participate in digital transformation of the finance department through transversal projects.
- Improve financial tools (monthly reporting, follow-up files, accounting processes).
Requirements
- Minimum of 3/4 years professional experience in finance/business control or audit in an international environment.
- Perfect level of English language.
- Good practice of Spanish language.
- Autonomy, meticulousness, self-confidence, teamwork capable, well organized.
- Interest for the Regions’ cultures, traditions and way of life.
- Proficient with the use of software tools (Anaplan, Magnitude, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
