About the role
- Embedded Technical Account Manager providing eSIM solutions support. Joining Thales in Madrid, focusing on technical client interactions and project management.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth eSIM pre-sale support to the Sales, Customer/VLA Customer.
- Project management within BAP process with technical specifications.
- Provide in-depth eSIM post-sale support to customers.
- Communicate and adapt to customer technical requirements.
- Animate, educate & support technical consultants on local accounts.
- Ensure feedback to corporate teams on technical features required.
- Assist sales & marketing forces in defining or positioning eSIM products.
- Provide ad-hoc support and/or training to customers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or Telecom.
- Additional degree or affinity in Business or Commercial engineering preferred.
- Prior SIM/eSIM Technical Consulting experience (10 years).
- 10 years’ experience in smart cards and wireless devices.
- Understanding of telecom access network environment (GSM/UMTS/CDMA/LTE/5G).
- Understanding of 3GPP, 3GPP2 and GSMA standards.
- Knowledge of RSP/eUICC Standards SGP.02 (M2M), SGP.22 (CE), SGP.32 (IoT).
- Ability to explain standards in detail to customers.
- Innovator mindset for new IoT eUICC solutions.
- Experience in business communications to present technical features.
- Fluent in at least English and Spanish.
