Responsibilities
Develop, negotiate, and maintain provider contracts in alignment with organizational policies and financial guidelines.
Manage provider relationships, ensuring contract terms are met and resolving service issues.
Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Legal, Operations, Medical Management) to support contract implementation and network integrity.
Analyze financial, operational, and utilization data to assess contract performance and support strategic decisions.
Ensure accurate and timely contract submissions, amendments, and renewals.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of plan products, policies, and market trends to guide provider engagement and contracting strategies.
Support corporate initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution of projects and goals.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
At least 2 years for an intermediate level or 4 years for a senior level candidate with experience in managed care contracting and negotiating experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Experience in developing, managing and nurturing key provider relationships.
Knowledge of various reimbursement methodologies, including incentive-based models preferred.
An understanding and experience with managed care, and provider business models.
A collaborative approach with proven ability to develop strong working relationships within a fast-paced organization.
Customer centric and interpersonal skills are required.
Demonstrates an ability to maneuver effectively in a changing environment.
Adept in Practiced problem solving, decision-making, negotiating, contract language and financial acumen.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
