About the role

  • Master’s Degree Recruitment Specialist recruiting graduate students for Thomas Edison State University. Developing and implementing outreach strategies to drive enrollment growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative ideas to recruit Master’s degree students in both face-to-face and virtual environments
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporations, government organizations, non-profits, and alumni to build a pipeline of graduate candidates
  • Respond to prospective graduate students via phone, e-mail, and mail, providing exceptional customer service and timely follow-up
  • Attend recruitment events and deliver compelling presentations to prospective and admitted graduate students
  • Work closely with the Graduate Recruitment and Admissions team to analyze enrollment trends and adjust recruitment strategies as necessary
  • Maintain an understanding of FAFSA deadlines, graduate tuition options, and payment processes to accurately assist graduate students

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Significant experience in Graduate recruiting may be substituted for educational qualifications as determined by the appointing authority
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in higher education admissions, advising, or recruiting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently, exercising judgment and discretion with minimal guidance
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for required year-round daily travel
  • Must be able to lift and move 40 pounds for event setup
