About the role
- Operations Intern supporting daily tasks in energy storage operations at terralayr in Berlin. Assisting technical performance, commercial operations, and internal coordination across teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the daily technical operations and coordinate maintenance activities for our physical BESS portfolio.
- Assist with invoice verification, OPEX controlling, and Balancing Responsible Party (BKV) management.
- Prepare monthly operations reports and track critical technical KPIs (e.g., Availability, Cycles, Efficiency).
- Take ownership of onboarding new assets and maintaining accurate technical and contractual data in our systems.
- Support general operational and administrative topics across the business, helping keep internal processes and documentation running smoothly.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), Renewable Energy, or a related technical STEM field.
- Strong affinity for data; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is required.
- Basic knowledge of Python or SQL is a plus.
- Fluency in both German and English is required.
- A valid Class B driving license.
- Proactive, organized, and eager to learn about energy storage operations.
