About the role

  • Diligently qualify inbound leads (MQLs) from marketing campaigns and effectively convert them into qualified sales opportunities (SQLs/SALs) for the Account Executive team.
  • Strategically conduct targeted outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, and social selling (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to penetrate key accounts and generate new pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of TENEX.AI’s AI-native MDR and Security Automation value proposition, being able to articulate it clearly and concisely to prospects.
  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations with IT and Security professionals to understand their current cybersecurity challenges and position TENEX.AI’s solutions as the preferred alternative.
  • Ensure a smooth, professional handoff of qualified opportunities to the regional Account Executives, providing comprehensive context and next steps.
  • Will work closely with assigned Google Cloud Security Renewal Team to mine new opportunities for TENEX.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Inside Sales, Sales Development Representative (SDR), or Business Development Representative (BDR) role, preferably within the B2B SaaS or Cybersecurity sector.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and active listening skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers effectively over the phone and via email.
  • Highly motivated, persistent, and resilient, with a strong desire to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Experience working with a CRM and sales engagement tools
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex technical concepts, specifically related to cybersecurity, cloud, or managed services.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Direct experience in selling or working with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) or Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity terminology such as SIEM, XDR, Threat Intelligence, and security automation is a plus.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or startup technology environment is a plus.
