About the role

  • Senior Sales Manager leading strategic customer acquisition efforts in a hotel cluster. Responsible for sales reporting, contract negotiations, and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

  • In this position you are the sales backbone of our cluster.
  • You are responsible for strategic new customer acquisition and steer our sales activities using data.
  • Active B2B new customer acquisition (MICE & Corporate) – independently, targeted & strategic.
  • Analysis-based reacquisition – revive lost contacts & exploit revenue potential.
  • Responsible for offer & contract negotiations, especially framework agreements.
  • CRM-driven sales work – careful lead management & systematic follow-up.
  • Sales reporting & KPI management – your decisions are based on data, not gut feeling.
  • Market & competitor analyses – identifying new potentials, target groups and industry trends.
  • Strategic input on pricing and offer strategy in collaboration with Revenue & Management.
  • Mentoring & know-how transfer – supporting your colleagues in Cluster Sales.

Requirements

  • Completed hotel management training or degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Event Management or Business Administration (Sales/Marketing)
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the hotel/MICE sector, ideally in a cluster or multi-property environment
  • Proven success in acquisition, contract negotiations and customer retention
  • Very good knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, Opera S&C or similar)
  • Experience in sales controlling, KPI evaluation and data analysis
  • Fluent German and English skills (written & spoken)
