About the role
- Group Head of Supply Chain responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategy across manufacturing sites for Teledyne, a technologies provider in industrial growth sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the group’s supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
- Drive standardisation of supply chain processes across multiple sites
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring business continuity
- Oversee group procurement activities, ensuring value, quality, and cost-effective sourcing
- Lead the development of integrated business planning (IBP/S&OP) processes across manufacturing sites
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring efficient and cost-effective material flow
- Define KPIs for procurement, planning, logistics, and supplier performance
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Significant experience (8+ years) in supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in procurement, planning, logistics, and supplier management
- Experience managing supply chains across multi-site operations
- Strong negotiation, commercial, and contract management skills
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics AX, etc.)
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (Green Belt/Black Belt desirable)
