About the role
- Internship in operational planning at a sterile manufacturing facility in Candiac. Support capacity management and ensure SAP operational continuity for essential medication availability.
Responsibilities
- Support load leveling across various work centers and proactively manage material shortages.
- Create and release work orders in SAP to ensure production continuity.
- Support the execution of detailed scheduling and rigorously monitor adherence to the production plan.
- Actively participate in daily and weekly production planning and release follow-up meetings.
- Perform various analyses and develop and run performance reports.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management and Logistics and/or equivalent studies/experience.
- Knowledge of core Supply Chain principles, including MPS/MRP concepts and inventory management.
- Business or financial mathematics.
- Familiarity with SAP (or other ERP system).
- Bilingual (French & English): the incumbent will need to collaborate with suppliers and/or clients located outside the province of Quebec.
- Highly autonomous with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
