Responsibilities
- Lead a sub-project within Integrated Product Support during the bid phase.
- Own bid management in the IPS context and produce the complete bid specification, including quantity breakdowns and schedule.
- Analyze stakeholder requirements, formulate corresponding compliance statements, and translate the total scope of deliverables and services into precise system requirements.
- Act as the central interface between the IPS function and the respective project organization.
- Represent the IPS sub-project to various external stakeholders and conduct discussions with clients and contractors.
- Provide technical direction to the IPS bid team and represent the function within project structures.
- Coordinate inputs from participating departments and ensure the content and structural consistency of the IPS bid.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Confident application of project management methods.
- Ideally, expertise in bid management, requirements management, or systems engineering.
- Preferably initial exposure to IPS-related areas, e.g., logistics data, technical documentation, training, or spare parts management.
- Clear communication and teamwork focused on achieving joint project success.
- Ability to establish or efficiently further develop organizational structures and process flows.
- Confident presence, professional presentation skills, and very strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Several years of professional experience in project management with independent responsibility for projects or sub-projects.
- Ideally experience in sales- or bid-focused projects and knowledge of the defence or marine environment or IPS/Integrated Logistics Support.
