About the role

  • Supplier Quality Manager at TEICON ensuring compliance and quality in industrial projects for global clients. Collaborating with teams and driving supplier development and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance and auditability of all relevant processes and strategically important suppliers.
  • Conduct regular audits or prepare processes and involved parties specifically for upcoming audits.
  • Define qualification levels and requirements for suppliers and assess them systematically.
  • Actively support supplier development to achieve higher quality levels for supplied components.
  • Identify risks within the supply chain and implement measures for sustainable risk reduction.
  • Develop strategies to improve quality standards based on best practices and benchmarks, and consistently implement measures.
  • Prepare meaningful reports to transparently present results and developments.

Requirements

  • Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification recognized in Germany.
  • Desirable knowledge of Change Management, Lean Management, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
  • Assertive and able to represent positions clearly and with a results-oriented approach.
  • Work independently and in a structured manner with conceptual and analytical thinking skills.
  • Strong technical and commercial/business understanding.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a pronounced sense of responsibility.
  • High self-initiative and strong organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented and able to communicate openly and appropriately with different stakeholders.
  • Confident, reliable, and courteous demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business-fluent English and proficient use of standard MS Office applications and SAP R/3.
  • Several years of professional experience in procurement/purchasing and cross-functional experience from project assignments.
