About the role

  • Responding to service calls on client sites.
  • Handle hardware break fix tasks and deployments, meeting required SLA’s.
  • Resolve complex technical faults maintaining regular communication with real-time updates.
  • Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance ensuring that full activity records are documented.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose diverse hardware issues.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of company products, services, and solutions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to SLA when dealing with customer tickets/calls.
  • Regularly update product knowledge on all systems.
  • Maintain organised documentation using company devices to update call records.
  • Assist with rollout of projects.
  • Update tickets real-time using company systems & software.
  • Support any ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Troubleshoot hardware (printers, laptops, servers, routers, and switches)

Requirements

  • Relevant working experience from a similar Engineering role.
  • Full driving licence is essential for this role.
  • Lenovo and/or other vendor accreditations would be advantageous.
  • Strong IT troubleshooting skills required.
  • Printer repair and an understanding of mechanical print process is essential.
  • PC hardware/software experience required.
  • Server Hardware experience required.
  • Excellent customer service & client interfacing skills essential.
  • Knowledge of the following types of printers - Hewlett Packard, Sharp, Xerox and Kyocera and Canon would be an advantage.
  • Software basic skills would also be an advantage.
  • To be an efficient member of staff and maintain a high standard work ethic.
  • To be flexible & willing to carry out additional duties as & when required.
  • To Adhere to Group Information Security Policy
  • Working to ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards
  • Any other duties as required.
