About the role

  • Senior Merchandising Manager leading merchandising strategy for TCGplayer's tentpole events and initiatives. Collaborating across functions to drive engagement, conversion, and growth with a focus on trading card games.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead end-to-end merchandising strategy and execution for enterprise tentpole moments
  • Translate business priorities into integrated merchandising plans
  • Be responsible for the merchandising and promotions calendar
  • Serve as the primary merchandising lead for tentpole initiatives
  • Analyze funnel and placement performance
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams
  • Develop and evolve tentpole playbooks
  • Run experiments and personalization initiatives
  • Mentor and guide merchandising team members
  • Communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Proactively manage dependencies and risks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-8+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce merchandising
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end tentpole programs with measurable impact
  • Strong planning and follow-through skills
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with data quality checks
  • Proven cross-functional leadership
  • Experience building operational playbooks
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Passion for the hobby; understanding of trading card game buyer behavior preferred.
