About the role

  • District Field Service Supervisor at Solventum leading service operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective team management and productivity improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing team members in daily operations of the service centers in support of commercial activities within assigned territory.
  • Providing direction and supports development of field service team members and instills passion for the customer and Solventum MSD product offering.
  • Improve productivity through benchmarks, training, evaluations, support, KPI’s and completion of reporting as required.
  • Engaging in the recruitment and hiring of appropriate team members that fit company culture.
  • Organizing and structuring service center operations by staffing, training, developing, evaluating and rewarding service center personnel to ensure high levels of productivity.
  • Proactively managing customer relationships and ensuring consistent and reliable field service performance in line with customer expectations across assigned territory.
  • Establishing and executing district level communication strategy to ensure team members are aware and informed of key information and updates to policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining control and management of Solventum MSD rental asset and supplies inventories in accordance with quality management protocols.
  • Overseeing service center fleet vehicle programs and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining ownership of territory financial results and monitoring profit and loss statements of service center operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution AND seven (7) years of service, distribution, or operations experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • OR High School Diploma and eleven (11) of service, distribution, or operations experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.
  • One (1) year multiple location (multi-unit) management experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Master’s degree or higher in operations management (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as required in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • 6-Sigma/Lean Green Belt; Experience in establishing 5S Visual management.
