About the role
- Legal professional working on competition law and administrative processes at a leading law firm based in São Paulo. Responsibilities include advising clients, litigation, and compliance projects.
Responsibilities
- Act in administrative proceedings and investigations before CADE (Brazilian Competition Authority).
- Draft notifications and conduct analyses related to economic concentration (merger control) filings.
- Advise clients on Competition Law matters, including unilateral conduct and anti-competitive practices.
- Conduct competition risk analyses in contracts, corporate transactions and commercial strategies.
- Draft court filings, legal memoranda, opinions and reports.
- Support clients in negotiations with competition authorities.
- Participate in competition compliance projects, including training sessions and internal policy reviews.
- Monitor case law and regulatory developments relevant to competition law.
Requirements
- Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent).
- Active membership with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Prior experience in Competition / Antitrust Law.
- Advanced English.
- Experience with proceedings before CADE will be considered a plus.
