About the role

  • Bilingual Analyst for Portfolio Management at CMLS Financial, overseeing commercial construction loans and managing vital national portfolios. Collaborating with a diverse team and top-tier industry leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct annual loan reviews including affordability testing, DSCR/LTV assessments, and trend analysis to evaluate the performance of your assigned files.
  • Handle loan conversions and post-funding requests, ensuring every project stays on track through its term.
  • Partner with leaders at top-tier real estate firms to obtain project and financial information.
  • Create deal-specific memos for unique credit events, translating complex information into clear, actionable summaries.
  • Oversee the collection, review, and tracking of necessary documents for loan conversions and reviews.
  • Collaborate daily with a diverse team of account managers, analysts, and funders from coast to coast, playing a key role in the workflow that converts construction projects into long-term loans.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English and French (verbal and written).
  • A proactive, self-driven approach.
  • Post-secondary education in finance, economics, real estate, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis using Excel or Power BI is considered a valuable asset.
  • One (1) year of experience in commercial real estate experience will be considered an asset.
